February 9th, the 59th series of the Superbowl was played in Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. the Eagles came out with an astonishing victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

the Eagles won the game 40-22. going into the half the Eagles lead 24-0 with remarkable plays by Cooper DeJean, with a pick six thrown by Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs finally scored in the closing minutes of the game due to 3 big TD receptions by Xavier Worthy, a rookie out of Texas.

The irony of this loss to the Eagles is that the first win for the potential three peat was against the Eagles in Superbowl LVII. its a fitting end to a potentially historic win in NFL history.
