Sports Spotlight: April Fools Week

Poudre Baseball faced Greely West in this week's matchup; on Tuesday and Thursday. On 4/1, Tuesday; the game ended early due to Greely not having any lights on their field, with a score of 12-8 in favor of Poudre. Thursday, 4/3 the impalas will face Greely west again at home at 6pm. Along with the baseball matches there will also be a men's volleyball game on the same Thursday, 4/3. This week there will also be a Peach Fuzz game on 4/4 at Poudre high school immediately after school at 4:30; admission for students is free and for other spectators is $5 and there will also be concessions. Along with that this week there are cheer tryout prep clinics from 4:45-6:45 pm in the school's wrestling gym. 

Hey everyone! This is Cesar Mejia a sophomore and also first year member of the Poudre press. He is currently not really involved in much this year other than the press and doing sports officiating. Things he likes to do in his free time include taking pictures of sports, playing video games, watching collegiate football and making food. This year he hopes to be able to cover a wide range of topics, not just sports to help keep members of the community and  school involved in things going on in the world, community, and sports.
