A Review of Stephen King’s The Outsider

This is a new series that I am starting, where I review different novels. This one is about The Outsider, A novel which is written by Stephen King. He's famous for The Shining, It, among many other Horror novels. First Impressions: His writing shifts from different perspectives but these shifts are manageable, Where you can track down the different perspectives due to how he splits up each section by chapters and writes one character for one chapter.

Plotline: After the very public arrest of the main suspect of a gruesome murder involving Rape and children, and the striking revelation that he is at a convention during the murder, despite multiple witnesses. The main suspect is murdered due to the public outcry. Then this monster starts to appear to the main suspect’s daughter, someone with straws for eyes and is able to shift into the figure of her father. Then another case of a Double Homicide which is eerily similar, now as these two cases line up. The investigation team is pulled together and one last warning from the figure, the head detective needs to make the choice to continue or have everyone slaughtered. The Detective brings over a retired detective from the double homicide and soon they discover that El Curo, an old Mexican entity, might be behind the killings.

Overall opinion: The Outsider is a Horrifying murder case. With details that send shivers down your spine, With its realistic writing and characters. This book deserves an 8/10.
