A Message from Superintendent, Brian Kingsly, on PSD Success

Dear PSD community: 

I’m writing today to celebrate the recent release of 2024 state standardized testing results. Once again, PSD cemented its reputation as a high-achieving district by besting the state average not just by a small percentage but by double-digits in all grades and subject areas covered by CMAS (Colorado Measures of Academic Success), PSAT, and SAT testing. 

This achievement happens so often in our district, it may not have caught your attention. But it is truly amazing and worth celebrating year after year.  

PSD is in the top five districts with 10,000 students or more for the percentage of third- through eighth-graders scoring at or above grade level on CMAS English Language Arts and math exams. We’re also in the top five for math and evidence-based reading and writing results on the PSAT exams for high school freshmen and sophomores and the SAT for juniors.
